Welcome to the second issue of "O'Shea Insights," my newsletter, to update you on what's happening in Taoglas and the latest innovations shaping connectivity. 

After celebrating 20 years in business, I've been reflecting on the future of Taoglas and our industry. One thing is guaranteed - change. Well, there are two, the second being the unexpected! In any case, there are multiple technologies that mean we must embrace change to help drive the industry forward. In Cellular, aside from 5G, we have multiple categories to choose from. GNSS is now multi-constellation and multiband. For Wi-Fi, we are seeing Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7.   

The evolution of these technologies is reshaping solutions, from autonomous robotics to smart agriculture, pushing the boundaries of what's possible. The bar is being raised for everyone: solution providers, engineers, and component providers.  

While everything in our industry is becoming increasingly complex, here at Taoglas, we strive to make things fast and simple for our customers while maintaining the highest quality standards.  

We will never tell you something is possible when it's virtually impossible, and we will never back down on the project, no matter how complex. Our customers can trust that they have reliable co-pilots in our Engineering team, and I'm confident they're the best in the business.

Taoglas Unveils “AntJack”—an Industry-first Wi-Fi Antenna for an RJ45 Jack 

Sometimes, simple solutions are the best and most obvious. We added an antenna to a connector! 

We recently announced a Wi-Fi antenna with a difference: AntJack is designed to piggyback onto an RJ45 socket as a space-saving measure in space-constrained devices. A customer told me it was like combining a kettle and a toaster, two common items into one. 

The new FXM100 Wi-Fi antenna can be mounted on Taoglas’ TMJG4926HENL or any standard 1×1 RJ45 connector to create a 2-in-1 solution, providing designers space-saving options and layout flexibility to improve wireless coverage across 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz, and 7.1 GHz bands.
